London Tech Week, one of Europe's largest and most influential technology festivals, convened at Olympia London, bringing together innovators, investors, and technology leaders from over 90 countries. Türkiye participated in the event under the coordination of the Investment and Finance Office, hosting the largest national pavilion at the fair in partnership with three Turkic republics—Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The delegation comprised 60 companies, seven technoparks, and more than 250 representatives, supported by the Ministry of Trade under its "prestigious fair" designation.
Throughout the event, the Investment and Finance Office engaged with international investors, venture capital funds, and technology companies to promote Türkiye's rapidly expanding startup and innovation landscape. Country Advisor Enes Güzel introduced the recently announced investment program unveiled by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan under the theme "Powerhouse for Investments in the Türkiye Century," while Country Advisor Ersoy Erkazancı presented Türkiye as a premier destination for financial investors, highlighting the country's thriving startup ecosystem and growing venture capital landscape.
Türkiye's Ambassador to London Osman Koray Ertaş underscored that the scale of this year's national pavilion reflects Türkiye's determination to become a leading actor in the global artificial intelligence revolution. Ambassador Ertaş further emphasized that the coordinated efforts of public institutions, the private sector, and academia have positioned Türkiye as a globally competitive technology hub, capable of competing with both Eastern and Western players across a broad range of high-growth industries.
Addressing the investment climate, Country Advisor Erkazancı highlighted the strong international interest generated by the Powerhouse for Investments in the Türkiye Century program, noting growing investor appetite for Türkiye's defence technologies as well as its emerging role in sustainable and environmental technologies. He also emphasized that Türkiye's upcoming role as host of COP31 is expected to further strengthen the country's attractiveness in these sectors.
Guided by the vision of the Türkiye Century, Türkiye reaffirmed its position as the nexus of technology, innovation, and investment within the global ecosystem, further consolidating its standing as the region's foremost powerhouse for capital, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth during London Tech Week 2026.
